How Battle+ Works

Each puzzle presents a real poker scenario — a specific hand, board texture, and action sequence — and asks you to choose the GTO-optimal action. Your answer is scored based on the EV difference between your choice and the solver-perfect play. The closer your decision is to the mathematical optimum, the higher you score. You compete against opponents in real time, with both players seeing the same puzzle and racing to make the best decision.

EV-Based Scoring System

Unlike simple right-or-wrong quizzes, Battle+ uses a nuanced EV scoring system that rewards close approximations. Choosing to bet 75% pot when the solver says 66% pot loses fewer points than choosing to check when you should bet. This scoring method teaches you to think in terms of expected value rather than binary correctness, which is exactly how profitable poker decisions work in practice.

Filter by Game Type and Difficulty

Battle+ lets you focus on specific areas of the game by filtering puzzles by format (cash games, tournaments, Spin & Gos), street (preflop, flop, turn, river), and difficulty level. If you want to drill continuation bet spots on dry boards, you can. If you want to practice 3-bet pot river decisions, you can do that too. This targeted practice lets you focus on the specific leak areas identified by your Postflop+ training sessions.
